Le dernier film d’Absinthe « Optimistic? », a reçu plusieurs nominations à travers le monde. Il a d’ailleurs été élu « movie of the year » par snowboarder magazine (USA) et par Future Snowboarding (USA). Grâce à ce film, le titre de « rider of the year » avait même été décerné à Wolle Nyvelt, un fidèle de s productions Absinthe.
Le prochain film Absinthe s’intitulera « Ready » et sortira en shop en septembre 2008.
Les habitués Gigi Rüf, Marc Frank Montoya, Romain de Marchi, Matt Beardmore, Nicolas Müller, Jules Reymond, JP Solberg ou encore Mikey LeBlanc seront toujours présents au casting. Mais il y aura aussi quelques nouveaux pour apporter leur pierre à l’édifice : Kevin Pearce, Scotty Lago, Blair Habenicht, Louie Vito, Markus Keller et Bjorn Leines. Bientôt, un teaser disponible.
